2003 Death Valley National Park Trip
(Friday, 17 October - Tuesday, 21 October, 2003)
This was my first time at Death Valley (well, I may have been there when I was very young, but I sure don't remember it!). We had a full agenda of ultra bicycling and hiking, staying both at a hotel and car camping. It was a wonderful trip overall, despite a less-than-successful bike ride, and has fueled my desire to return to Death Valley annually despite the longish drive.
